This presentation will discuss the ways that the Safe System approach influences the decisions made about speed management. The linkage between speed and infrastructure will be discussed, and examples given of successful treatments (especially infrastructure based treatments) that may be used to reduce speeds. Examples will be provided based on recent experience in Australia.
