Ce bulletin s’inscrit en complément au Bulletin #32, 2020 – Message de la SAAQ, publié le 29 juin 2020 concernant l’autorisation temporaire pour l’enseignement des programmes d’éducation à la sécurité routière des classes 5 et 6.
En raison de la situation exceptionnelle qu’entraîne la COVID-19, la Société de l’assurance automobile du Québec (SAAQ) a décidé de prolonger, jusqu’à avis contraire, l’autorisation temporaire permettant aux candidats formateurs d’enseigner les PESR des classes 5 et 6 avant d’avoir réussi l’examen théorique et l’évaluation finale pour être reconnus à titre de moniteur ou d’instructeur. De plus, la durée maximale de cette autorisation passe de 90 à 120 jours. Ainsi, à la réception du cahier des activités, l’Association québécoise des transports (AQTr) émettra une autorisation temporaire au candidat formateur lui permettant d’enseigner, et ce, pour une durée maximale de 120 jours.
À noter que les conditions pour bénéficier de cette autorisation temporaire demeurent les mêmes.
Les autorisations temporaires déjà émises aux candidats formateurs sont prolongées jusqu’à concurrence de 120 jours, et ce, selon la date à laquelle l’autorisation temporaire a été émise.
News Bulletin # 49 – 2020: Message from the SAAQ – Training Instructors’ Training – Temporary Authorization for the Teaching of the RSEP
This news bulletin is a supplement to News Bulletin #32, 2020 - Message from the SAAQ, published on June 29th, 2020, concerning the temporary authorization to teach the Class 5 and Class 6 Road Safety Education Programs.
Due to the exceptional situation caused by COVID-19, the Société de l'assurance automobile du Québec (SAAQ) has decided to extend, until further notice, the temporary authorization allowing in-car and in-class instructor candidates to teach the Class 5 and Class 6 RSEP before having successfully passed the knowledge test and final evaluation to be recognized as an in-car or in-class instructor. In addition, the maximum duration of this authorization is increased from 90 to 120 days. Thus, upon receipt of the activity book, the Association québécoise des transports (AQTr) will issue a temporary authorization to the instructor candidate allowing him/her to teach for a maximum duration of 120 days.
Please note that the conditions to be fullfilled to obtain this temporary authorization remain the same.
Temporary authorizations which were already issued to instructor candidates are extended for up to 120 days, according to on the date on which the temporary authorization was issued.
