Dimension du terrain utilisé lors de la formation pratique moto en circuit fermé
Le présent bulletin s’inscrit en complément à celui publié le 10 décembre dernier (bulletin #24) à l’égard de la dimension du terrain utilisé pour la partie du Programme d’éducation à la sécurité routière – Conduire une moto effectuée en circuit fermé.
En raison des réserves exprimées auprès de la Société quant aux enjeux inhérents au retrait de la norme portant sur la dimension de ces terrains, la Société a entrepris des travaux afin d’analyser certains aspects.
En conséquence, les dérogations émises par la Société pour la saison 2018 seront maintenues pour la saison 2019.
Par ailleurs, si une nouvelle dérogation était souhaitée pour 2019, vous devez procéder comme par les années passées et faire parvenir vos demandes à l’AQTr, qui les acheminera pour considération à la Société.
La Société fera part des développements à l’égard des normes relatives à la dimension des terrains utilisés pour la formation en circuit fermé dans un bulletin à paraître au cours des dernières semaines de 2019.

Dimension of the Track used for Teaching the Motorcycle Practical Training on Closed-Circuit Track
The present news bulletin is further to the one that was published on December 10, 2019 (news bulletin #24), about the dimensions of the track used for teaching the RSEP-motorcycle on closed track.
Due to the restraints shown to the SAAQ regarding the issues going along with removing the norm for the dimensions of some closed-circuit tracks, the SAAQ has started an analysis of certain aspects.
Consequently the exemptions granted by the SAAQ in 2018 will be maintained for the 2019 motorcycle season.
In addition, if a driving school wishes to be exempted for 2019, it has to follow the same usual process, i.e. sending the request to the AQTr which will then transfer it to the SAAQ for analysis.
In the last weeks of 2019, a news bulletin will be published by the SAAQ to share the developments regarding the norms related to the dimensions of closed-circuit tracks used for teaching on closed track.
