Le présent bulletin vise à vous informer que les consultations annoncées en janvier 2021 concernant la gestion du Programme de reconnaissance des écoles de conduite (PREC) se poursuivent.
Consultation des formateurs des écoles de conduite
Tel que déjà mentionné, la firme de recherche SOM a été mandatée par la Société de l’assurance automobile du Québec (SAAQ) afin d’effectuer les consultations portant sur le PREC actuellement sous la responsabilité de l’AQTr. L’objectif du sondage auprès des formateurs est de connaître leur opinion afin d’améliorer leur expérience à titre de partenaire de la SAAQ en sécurité routière.
La consultation est divisée en 2 phases, une première phase en juin 2021 et une deuxième à l’automne 2021. Les thèmes de la première phase concernent la formation des apprentis conducteurs, les outils de formation, l’évolution du PESR, le soutien pédagogique et l’admissibilité. Le thème principal de la deuxième phase concerne la formation des formateurs.
La première phase du sondage aura lieu du 10 au 25 juin 2021, il sera d’une durée d’environ 10 minutes et se fera sur une base volontaire. Toutefois, la SAAQ tient à souligner l’importance de la contribution des formateurs et compte sur l’entière collaboration des écoles de conduite afin que celles-ci encouragent tous leurs formateurs à participer à cette initiative.
News Bulletin # 23— 2021: Message of the SAAQ — Consultations with Driving Schools’ Training Officers to Improve the Management of the Driving School Accreditation Program
This news bulletin is to inform you that the consultations announced in January 2021 regarding the management of the Driving School Accreditation Program are still going on.
Consultation with driving schools’ training officers
As already mentioned, the research firm SOM has been mandated by the Société de l'assurance automobile du Quebec (SAAQ) to carry out consultations on the Driving School Accreditation Program, currently under the responsibility of the AQTr. The objective of this survey is to find out your opinion as driving school training officer in order to improve your experience as a SAAQ partner in road safety.
This consultation involves 2 stages: the first one will take place in June 2021, and the second, in fall 2021. The 1st phase will cover the following themes: training of the learner drivers, training tools, RSEP evolution, educational support, and eligibility. During the 2nd phase, the main topic will be instructors’ training.
The 1st stage of the survey will more precisely take place from June 10, 2021, to June 25, 2021. The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete and is voluntary. However, the SAAQ would like to emphasize the importance of training officers’ contribution to the survey. Also, the SAAQ would like driving schools’ owners to encourage their training officers to take part in this initiative.
Indeed, we would like to consult driving schools’ training officers to better identify the issues and the means that will allow us to improve the management of the Driving School Accreditation Program and contribute to road safety in Quebec.
