Le présent bulletin vise à vous informer d’une modification apportée concernant les éléments inscrits sur le certificat de reconnaissance d’une école de conduite.
L’article 4.3 d) des Exigences détaillées sera modifié, le certificat de reconnaissance d’une école de conduite ne contiendra plus de date d’expiration, seule la date d’entrée en vigueur y sera inscrite.
Ainsi, l’émission d’un certificat de reconnaissance d’une école de conduite ne s’effectuera qu’une seule fois. Le renouvellement du certificat se fera automatiquement sans autre formalité aux deux ans, sous réserve d’une suspension ou d’une révocation par la SAAQ.
Opérations de l’AQTr pour l’envoi du nouveau certificat :
L’AQTr procèdera à l’envoi graduel dans les écoles de conduite du nouveau certificat à partir de la deuxième semaine du mois d’août. Toutes les écoles seront donc en possession de leur nouveau certificat à la fin du mois d’août.
Par ailleurs, toute école de conduite reconnue, qui à la fin août n’a pas reçu ledit certificat, est invitée à communiquer avec la coordonnatrice responsable de son école.
De plus, compte tenu de cette disposition, l’AQTr ne renouvèlera pas les certificats venant à échéance au mois de juillet 2016, étant donné qu’un nouveau format de certificat leur sera acheminé selon la planification décrite ci-dessus.
Quant aux écoles nouvellement reconnues, elles recevront l’ancien gabarit de certificat jusqu’à ce que le nouveau soit disponible.
Enfin, en accord avec la SAAQ, l’AQTr inscrira les informations suivantes sur les certificats de reconnaissance des écoles ayant ouvert avant 2012 :

Pour les écoles ayant été reconnues avant janvier 2010 : la date d’entrée en vigueur du certificat correspondra à la date d’entrée en vigueur du Programme d’éducation à la sécurité routière (PESR), soit le 17 janvier 2010;

Pour les écoles ayant été reconnues entre janvier 2010 et janvier 2012, soit avant la levée du moratoire : la date d’entrée en vigueur du certificat correspondra à la date d’entrée en vigueur de la levée du moratoire, soit le 17 janvier 2012.
News Bulletin from the AQTr 28 - 2016: Message from the SAAQ - Expiration Date of a Driving School Recognition Certificate
The present news bulletin is to inform you of a change that will be brought to the information on a driving school recognition certificate.
Indeed, the article 4.3 d) of the Detailed Requirements will be updated; the certificate of recognition of a driving school will no longer contain an expiration date, but only an effective date.
Therefore, the certificate of recognition will be granted only once. Then the certificate will be renewed automatically every two years, unless the SAAQ suspends or revokes the certificate.
Actions to be taken by the AQTr to issue the new certificate:
The AQTr will start sending progressively the new certificates to driving schools as of the 2nd week of August, which means that every driving school will have received a new certificate by the end of August. Any driving school, which would not have received the certificate by then, is invited to contact its school coordinator.
Moreover, due to this measure, the AQTr will not renew the certificates coming to an end in July, 2016. Indeed, a new one, using the new template, will be issued according to the planning described previously.
As far as the newly-recognized driving schools are concerned, they will be granted the old version of the certificate until the new one is available.
Also, in accordance with the SAAQ, the AQTr will write down the following information on the certificate of recognition of driving schools which opened before 2012:

For driving schools which were certified prior to January, 2010: the effective date of the certificate will correspond to the effective date of the Road Safety Education Program (RSEP) (i.e. January, 2010);

For driving schools which were recognized between January, 2010, and January, 2012, so before the end of the moratorium: the effective date of the certificate will correspond to the date of the end of the moratorium (i.e. January, 2012).
