Le présent bulletin a pour objectif d’apporter une précision en ce qui concerne l’examen théorique effectué au module 5, examen dont la réussite est préalable au permis d’apprenti conducteur.
La Société a ajouté une clarification dans le dispositif de formation du PESR en ce qui a trait à l’examen théorique. Il y est spécifié que l’examen doit être fait par chaque élève, et ce, de façon individuelle.
Tout usage de notes de cours ou des manuels d’apprentissage, tel que le Carnet d’accès à la route, est interdit. L’examen doit être diffusé sur écran ou remis sous forme de questionnaire papier à l’ensemble du groupe. Dans les deux cas, l’instructeur ne doit en aucun cas divulguer les réponses.
Dans la fiche technique du Guide moniteur-instructeur, il est indiqué que la durée maximale prévue pour l’examen est d’une heure. Ceci dit, afin de respecter toutes les étapes prévues dans ce module, la SAAQ suggère la répartition du temps qui suit :

Révision des apprentissages : +/- 45 min

Pause : +/- 10 min

Examen : +/- 45 min

Correction de l’examen : +/- 10 min

Retour sur questions et réponses : +/- 10 min.

Clarification on the Road Safety Education Program
By the present news bulletin, the Société de l’assurance automobile du Québec (SAAQ) would like to clarify an issue regarding the 5th module theoretical exam, which is prerequisite for the acquisition of the learner’s permit.
The SAAQ has provided a clarification on the Road Safety Education Program regarding the exam. It is now specified that the exam has to be done by each student individually.
The use of textbooks, such as the Road Access Binder, or course notes is completely prohibited. This exam can be screened or given to each student of the group as a paper questionnaire. In both cases, the in-class instructor must not provide the students with the answers in no case.
In the teacher’s sheet of the Guide for Prospective in-class /in-car Instructors it is indicated that the exam has to be done within one hour. However, in order to cover all the steps that are planned for this module, the SAAQ suggests the following time division:

Review of the previous lessons: +/ 45 min

Break: +/- 10 min
-
Exam: +/45 min

Grading of the exam: +/- 10 min
-
Feedback on questions and answers: +/- 10 min.
