Le présent bulletin porte sur la présence simultanée d’élèves inscrits aux formations moto[1], moto à trois roues[2] et cyclomoteur[3] lors de séances de formation théoriques.
Il est important de rappeler que chacune des parties de ces formations a des objectifs qui lui sont particuliers. Il s’avère donc essentiel que les élèves atteignent ces objectifs pour que l’on puisse confirmer la réussite de leur cours.
La Société de l’assurance automobile du Québec (Société) souhaite donc rappeler qu’il est important de respecter les normes d’application de chacun des programmes de cours, ceux-ci étant distincts.
Tel qu’inscrit à l’article 4.59 des Exigences détaillées, « l’école de conduite reconnue doit s’assurer de la conformité de ses programmes de cours à ceux en vigueur élaborés par la Société ».
En conséquence, les séances de formation, tant théoriques que pratiques, doivent être exclusivement offertes à la clientèle inscrite à chacun de ces programmes.
Enfin, il est important de rappeler que les élèves participant à la formation pratique en circuit fermé des programmes moto et cyclomoteur peuvent se trouver simultanément sur le même terrain, et ce, dans la mesure où les normes propres à chacun de ces programmes sont respectées.

News Bulletin # 24 – 2017: Message from the SAAQ - Teaching Theoretical Modules Simultaneously to Students from Different Training Programs
The present news bulletin is about teaching theoretical modules simultaneously to students enrolled in motorcycle[1], three-wheeled motorcycle[2] and scooter[3] training programs.
It is important to call to mind that each part of these training programs has specific goals. It is thus fundamental that students work towards the achievement of these goals in order to confirm that they have attained with success the objectives of the program.
Therefore, the Société de l’assurance automobile du Québec (SAAQ) would like to remind driving schools that it is essential to apply the Application Standards of each particular Road Safety Education Program, these being distinct.
According to the article 4.59 of the Detailed Requirements, “a recognized driving school must ensure that its course programs correspond to those in effect established by the SAAQ”.
Consequently, training sessions, either theoretical or practical, must be offered exclusively to the students registered in one of these programs.
The SAAQ would like to add that both RSEP-motorcycle and RSEP-scooter students, attending practical training on closed-circuit track, are allowed to practice at the same time on a single track as long as the Application Standards of each particular training programs are respected.
