Le présent bulletin porte sur le cheminement des candidats formateurs inscrits à la formation moniteur et instructeur Éducation à la sécurité routière (ESR) – Motocyclette.
En raison du contexte exceptionnel de la pandémie et des restrictions occasionnées par le couvre-feu, la Société de l’assurance automobile du Québec (SAAQ) vous informe qu’elle a apporté certaines modifications au cheminement des candidats formateurs.
Ainsi, il est dorénavant possible :
- Pour les candidats formateurs, d’amorcer leur formation pratique (observation, exercices pratiques et enseignement supervisé), dès le début de leur formation théorique.
- Pour les candidats formateurs ayant terminé leur formation théorique ainsi que les trois parties de leur formation pratique (observation, exercices pratiques et enseignement supervisé) des CF1, CF2, CF3 et CF4, d’enseigner la formation en CIRCUIT FERMÉ aux élèves du Programme d’éducation à la sécurité routière – Conduire une moto (PESR-Moto), sans la supervision d’un formateur reconnu.
Malgré les modifications apportées, lorsque le candidat formateur aura complété l’ensemble des parties de la formation Moniteur et/ou Instructeur Éducation à la sécurité routière (ESR) – Motocyclette, l’école de conduite devra transmettre à l’AQTr le cahier des activités dûment complété et signé. Ainsi, l’AQTr sera en mesure d’émettre une autorisation temporaire permettant au candidat formateur d’enseigner l’ensemble du PESR-Moto, selon le statut choisi par le candidat formateur (instructeur-moniteur ou uniquement moniteur), et ce, avant d’avoir réussi les examens théoriques et pratiques administrés par l’AQTr.
À la réception du cahier des activités, l’AQTr émettra une autorisation temporaire au candidat formateur.
News Bulletin # 19 – 2021: Message from the SAAQ – Process for Training Candidates Enrolled in the Road Safety Education (RSE) Trainer Program – Motorcycle
This news bulletin is to provide information on the progress of trainer candidates registered for the Road Safety Education (RSE) - Motorcycle.
Due to the exceptional context of the pandemic and the restrictions caused by the curfew, the Société de l'assurance automobile du Québec (SAAQ) informs you that it has made certain modifications to the training process for in-class and on-the-road training candidates.
Thus, it is now possible:
- For trainer candidates, to start their practical training (observation, practical exercises and supervised teaching), as soon as their theoretical training begins.
- For trainer candidates who have completed their theoretical training as well as the three parts of their practical training (observation, practical exercises and supervised teaching) of CT1, CT2, CT3 and CT4, to teach closed track training to students of the Road Safety Education Program - Operating a Motorcycle (RSEP-Motorcycle), without the supervision of a recognized trainer.
Despite the changes made, once the trainer candidate has completed all parts of the in-class or on-the-road Road Safety Education (RSE) - Motorcycle training, the driving school must send the duly completed and signed activity book to the AQTr. The AQTr will then be able to issue a temporary authorization allowing the trainer candidate to teach the entire Motorcycle RSEP, depending on the status chosen by the trainer candidate (in-class and on-the-road instructor or on-the-road instructor only), and this, before having passed the knowledge and on-the-road tests administered by the AQTr.
Upon receipt of the activity book, the AQTR will issue a temporary authorization to the trainer candidate.
