Suivant l’autorisation de la SAAQ et dans le but de pallier la pénurie de personnel enseignant toujours ressentie au sein de l’industrie des écoles de conduite, l’AQTr offre pour une période limitée des formations théoriques de formateurs classe 5 et 6 en classe virtuelle.
En effet, il est temporairement possible pour les candidats intéressés de suivre une formation théorique en ligne (moniteur ou instructeur – classes 5 et 6). Pour se faire, les candidats auront besoin d’un ordinateur, d’une caméra et d’un microphone.
Formation théorique instructeur de classe 5 (Français)
Durée : 7 jours
- 2 et 3 avril 2020 — jours 6 et 7 de formation pour le groupe ayant arrêté le 4 mars
- 6, 7, 8, 9, 14. 15 et 16 avril 2020
Cette formation vous préparera à votre examen théorique et à l’enseignement sous supervision en classe du PESR de classe 5 et de la formation théorique du programme cyclomoteur. L’AQTr évalue présentement la possibilité d’offrir l’examen théorique en ligne pour cette formation et tiendra sa clientèle informée de la faisabilité du projet, le cas échéant. Il est à noter que l’évaluation pratique obligatoire menant à l’accréditation du formateur sera offerte aussitôt que le gouvernement aura levé les mesures liées à la pandémie.
Formation théorique moniteur-instructeur de classe 6 (Français)
Durée : 6 jours
- 17, 20, 21, 22, 23 et 24 avril 2020
Cette formation vous préparera à votre examen théorique et à l’enseignement sous supervision en classe, en circuit fermé et sur route du PESR de classe 6 (spécialisation possible). L’AQTr évalue présentement la possibilité d’offrir l’examen théorique en ligne pour cette formation et tiendra sa clientèle informée de la faisabilité du projet, le cas échéant. Il est à noter que l’évaluation pratique obligatoire menant à menant à l’accréditation du formateur sera offerte aussitôt que le gouvernement aura levé les mesures liées à la pandémie.
Formation théorique moniteur de classe 5 (Français)
Durée : 6 jours
- 27, 28, 29, 30 avril, 1 et 3 mai 2020
Cette formation vous préparera à votre examen théorique et à l’enseignement sous supervision sur la route du PESR de classe 5. Vous serez en mesure d’enseigner les techniques de la conduite, mais aussi travailler sur les aptitudes comportementales des apprentis conducteurs L’AQTr évalue présentement la possibilité d’offrir l’examen théorique en ligne pour cette formation et tiendra sa clientèle informée de la faisabilité du projet, le cas échéant. Il est à noter que l’évaluation pratique obligatoire menant à l’accréditation du formateur sera offerte aussitôt que le gouvernement aura levé les mesures liées à la pandémie.

Upcoming Virtual Training Dates – Training Instructors (Class 5 and 6)
Following the authorization of the SAAQ and in order to overcome the shortage of teaching personnel still felt within the driving school industry, the AQTr offers for a limited period of time virtual theoretical training sessions for class 5 and 6 training instructors.
Indeed, it is temporarily possible for candidates to take the theoretical training online (training instructor - classes 5 and 6). To do so, candidates will need a computer, a camera and a microphone.
Virtual RSE In-class Instructor Training Courses (French)
Duration: 7 days
- April 2 and 3, 2020 - training days 6 and 7 for the group that stopped on March 4
- April 6, 7, 8, 9, 14. 15 and 16, 2020
This training will prepare you for your knowledge exam and for the supervised classroom instruction of the RSEP – Class 5 and Moped Program theory training. The ATQr is currently evaluating the possibility of offering the knowledge exam online for this training and will keep its clientele informed of the feasibility of the project, if applicable. It should be noted that the mandatory practical evaluation leading to the trainer’s accreditation will be offered as soon as the gouvernement du Québec has lifted the pandemic measures.
Virtual In-car/in-class Instructor Training Courses – Class 6 (French)
Duration: 6 days
- April 17, 20, 21, 22, 23 and 24 , 2020
This training will prepare you for your knowledge exam and for supervised classroom, closed-circuit and road instruction of the RSEP-Class 6 (possible specialization). The ATQr is currently evaluating the possibility of offering the knowledge exam online for this training and will keep its clientele informed of the feasibility of the project, if applicable. It should be noted that the mandatory practical evaluation leading to the trainer’s accreditation will be offered as soon as the gouvernement du Québec has lifted the pandemic measures.
Virtual RSE In-car Instructor Training Courses (French)
Duration: 6 days
- April 27, 28, 29, 30, May 1 and 3, 2020
This training will prepare you for your knowledge exam and for supervised on-the-road teaching of the Class 5 RSEP. You will be able to not only teach driving techniques, but also work on the behavioural skills of learner drivers. The ATQr is currently evaluating the possibility of offering the theory exam online for this training and will keep its clientele informed of the feasibility of the project, if applicable. It should be noted that the mandatory practical assessment leading to trainer certification will be offered as soon as the government lifts the pandemic measures.
