Heavy trucks are over-represented in serious and fatal collisions with cyclists and pedestrians in London. This is against a backdrop of a growing city and associated demand for construction, delivery and servicing and increasing numbers of people walking and cycling.  The presentation covers a range of initiatives being implemented to improve the safety of road freight vehicles and their operations in London, and how the City authority has worked with construction and freight industries to develop solutions.
